
Ingredients:
- Curd cheese – 250g (min 3% fat, ideally more)
- 1 egg
- Flour – an amount based on the need
- Slice of butter
- Apricots (about 8)
Topping:
- Sugar
- Curd cheese
- Melted butter
Method:
Mix curd cheese, egg, a slice of butter and flour together.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Add as much flour as needed until the dough is not sticky.
Roll the dough by hand.
Cut it into pieces (1 piece per dumpling).
Clean the apricots and split each in half.
Wrap each half of apricot into the dough and create small dumplings.
Put the dumplings into boiling water.
When the dumplings swim up on the surface, boil them for another 5-6 min.
Take them out with a net.

Topping:
Sprinkle with sugar, add pieces of curd cheese, and pour melted butter on the top.
Other possible variations:
Instead of apricots, you can use plums or apples with the following topping:
Plums – poppyseeds, melted butter, sugar
Apples – cinnamon, sugar and toasted breadcrumbs on a butter
